Slime Farms
Slime Farms
Slime farms fall into one of three categories, those being:
Swamp slime farms
Oozing slime farms
Slime chunk slime farms
Each of these farms have their benefits, however slime chunk slime farms are impractical on multiplayer servers, as you cannot use a seed manipulation tool to view slime chunks, therefore they will not be covered here.
Swamp slime farms refer to traditional slime farms, where a basic farm is setup in a swamp biome to have slimes spawn and be killed.
Oozing slime farms refer to newer slime farms, which use Oozing potions to spawn slimes quickly
BigBooty17’s Oozing Slime Farm
This Oozing slime farm is extremely clever, using snow golems to activate the Oozing potion, while recycling the carved pumpkins in the process.
There are two drawbacks to using this farm on Vanilla X, those being that climbing bypassing the entity cramming limit is disabled, and due to spigot working it’s magical ways, the farm can often break without an alteration.
With that being said, the alteration is not difficult to make, and the farm still produces more than enough slime even with the entity cramming limit.
YouTubeIt is important that if you follow the tutorial, you then alter the farm to match the adjusted schematic found below.

Swamp Slime Farm
This design has two variants, one using mushrooms and the other using glow lichen.
The mushroom variant produces slightly more slime balls per hour than the glow lichen variant, however the glow lichen variant is a lot cheaper and quicker to build.
When building this farm, the player should AFK 44 blocks above the roof of the farm.
This is an isometric render of the glow lichen variant of the farm.
