Bonemeal Farms

Bonemeal Farms

Bonemeal Farms fall into one of two categories, they’re either cheap at the cost of not being lag friendly, or more expensive at the cost of being lag friendly, which you choose to build ultimately falls down to whether you’re noticing your farm breaking due to it creating lag or not, since both farms make similar rates.

Chromoss

It is crucial that you place the lava buckets in the dispensers as shown at the end of the tutorial. Not doing so will cause the farm to break.

The Chromoss bonemeal farm falls into the more expensive at the cost of being lag friendly category.

This farm is modular, meaning it can be expanded almost infinitely based on how much bonemeal you find yourself needing.

You can find a plethora of schematics for different variations of this farm in the Archivists discord linked in the video description, however the 2x5x2 schematic will be linked here, since it’s the most popular.

Dustmoss v2

The Dustmoss v2 bonemeal farm falls into the cheaper at the cost of being less lag friendly category.

This farm is also modular, though not as much as the first one, this design can only be stacked vertically.

This tutorial is for the Dustmoss v1, please do not follow it, instead use the schematic below.,

You can use this video as more of a showcase than a showcase than a tutorial, since both designs are similar.

With the attached schematic, if you do not wish to build all 5 layers, see the showcase to see where vertical modules begin to figure out where to stop building.
